I feel Riot needs to officially define MMR, and explain everything about it, it shouldn't be hidden or a secret, earlier when i was a 0lp i lost 4 in a row and didnt get demoted, this last game at 0 lp i just hit 0lp and i lost a game at that lp i got instademoted, this is extremely annoying and im sure everyone out there doesnt have a clear understanding of mmr, pls define it somewhere, i get the whole, win more lose less gain more, lose more win less lose more thing but i needa hear it from riot....

riot has said they hide it to keep people from getting 'MMR anxiety'.

MMR: Forces an about 50/50 win loss ratio. WIn a lot? Prepare to be placed with shitty toxic people for the next few games. That's why when someone leaves blind pick que and you get requed you get roughly the same people.

If you're gaining less LP than you win, your MMR is below average. I don't see a need to know a specific number because it won't change anything.

You also have shielding from demotion right after you are promoted. 3 games for division promotion and 10 for Tier. You also get a notification icon that lets you know you're close to being demoted.
