Why must I lose LP for dodging a troll Lobby in Ranked?

Seriously? Being in Bronze the amount of times I see trolls in Ranked Lobbies is too damn much. I'm a support main and do not wish to lane with a Vi ADC, Teemo Jungle and Syndra Top. This is all while they are fighting among each other in champ select calling each other %%%%%%s, %%%gots etc. Why must I be the one to not only lose LP, but also have to wait before I can queue up again? Why is it double punishment to leave these toxic/ignorant lobbies?

Can we just stick to queue time punishments ONLY and drop the LP loss?

Also, thanks to the mod that deleted this from Gameplay instead of moving it.

Because the system doesn't know how to detect trolls that say certain things like that.

because not losing LP would mean you would never be able to get into a game ever.

I just hate auto losing the match if I dodge during a promo.

Riot doesn't want people to dodge games, because they aren't looking favorable. So of course there is an incentive not to dodge, however think about this. Would you have a 100% chance to lose 3 LP or have a 99% chance to lose 20? I mean, a lot of you guys are mental when it comes to this. Dodging isn't going to affect you much, however playing out a game with trolls or a horrible team comp and losing 20 LP will. So I would just say don't complain.

because you don't know the outcome of that match, and you're leaving because you think something will happen when you don't really know. Also, it's a bad idea to drop the LP loss for dodgers. Enough people complain about dodgers already. Vi could be a kill lane... which is a thing. I've seen it with Fiora and Irelia. I see no reason Vi wouldn't be passable at it. So really, I'm siding with the system on this one. In bronze though, people suck enough that champ kits start to matter a ton less.

Trust me, the LP loss for queue dodging is completely necessary. Riot used to not have it back in Season 2 I believe, maybe Season 1 (though back then it was the Elo system, not the League system, but the same principle applies). Back then, it was hell trying to start a game. There were so many people dodging because of the tiniest little things they didn't like, so it took a long time to start most games. Riot added the LP loss for queue dodging largely, if not entirely, because of this reason.
