its only in extremely rare cases in which I will be toxic and flame, I'm a nice person in game, but since I never end up carrying hard, and I'm never MVP, nobody ever honours me. I feel like its not used as much on friendly, or tilt proof players, or a great shotcaller, as much as it is just used to say '' yo, thanks for the carry bro!'' but maybe that's just me. idk tell me what you guys think, I read all comments :)

you dont have to be good to get honored you have to show team where you clearly were helpful even in a game you are getting stomped

like i legit got my ass handed to me i tried to get cute and go lulu top vs octobitch aka Illaoi but i was playing bad... the enemy jungler invaded our red side and was able to gank me from behind in our own jungle , ruined our jungler he didnt get the 1st 3 red buffs

despite all this i was able to make lulu useful in team fights and help protect those who were doing well and was able to draw attention and create pressure this is in a bad game by me...

and we won the game. i got honored tilt proof , and i honor my jungler tilt proof cuz we just did what we could even behind and down to protect those who were winning.

but that dosent happen to me, here is one example game, I was playing Rakan support with an ezreal adc, vsing blitz and jhin, a pretty terrible lane for me. with a lot of pressure exerted from their jungler who was Kayn, naturally we lost the lane, I think my score was something like 0/4/1 but our riven top was doing really well vs their nasus, so she was our win condition, I decided to leave bot and try to group mid. got a few really good r w's and riven was able to obliterate the enemy team. after a few good fights, we won! score ended up being 0/7/21. still pretty bad, but hey, I helped. and even tho that riven flamed me since death 1. she got 3 honours ;-;

you went 0-7-21 thats is a 3-0 kda for a support you did well considering the nightmare of that bot lane and how garbage ez is right now... legit worst adc in the game atm.

people are stupid. they honor the guy who "carried" cuz all people care or look for is kills or deaths... i personally dont play that support so i have no clue what he actual does but to go from 0-4-1 to a 0-7-21 means after that horrible start/ bot lane match up you were 0-3-20 thats impressive as shit. regardless of the rank/elo

you might not be as horrible of a player you think you are... is there things we all could be better at? YES but the point is to enjoy the game have fun and improve cuz this is a that easy to learn hard to master. (similar in aspects to chess/ texas hold em )

and if riven wanted to talk shit and flame i would of reported her... i hardly ever honor someone cuz they carried... now if they could carry while helping the team... like in this game did she roam bot ? did she help get rift? drag? what kind of plays was she doing besides killing nasus over and over in lane ?

you can play great and lose, play like utter dog shit and win. that should have little impact to honoring people.

i for one a, selective to who i honor , like in my previous comment even though my mid and adc carried hard and made up for me and jungle i didnt honor them i honored the jungler cuz i knew how behind he was. how he recovered and stayed in it, didnt get toxic even though he was frustrated

as long as you play and arent an ass, dont get banned or punished you will get it

thing is it will reset at seasons end so it might take you a lil longer but don t get discourage . play if you are having fun. play if you enjoy the game if those things arent happening take a break.

at the rate I'm going right now, I wont reach it by the end of the season (1 honour every 4-5 games). I still enjoy the game, of course! I just don't enjoy getting flamed, but I'm assuming every dosent enjoy that :/ I wanna make a more elaborate reply but ive gotta go, so ill leave it with this unfinished point, ill get back to you in a couple of hours. sorry!

Getting honored is not required to advance, it just helps. So long as you play without getting reported, you will eventually rank up.

Those of us who only rarely get honored are starting to get Rank 3 about now, so unless you have been reported, I would guess you will not be far off!
