I've spent over $300 on this game. Like anyone else, I enjoyed it a lot. but lately? It's been filled with trolls and AFKers, people that play on their friend's account that haven't played a single game before (it happens almost every day)... I don't know if it's because I'm B IV or what the cause might be. but this isn't the player base I used to get matched with. For a LONG time, I had amazing teammates that were supportive, that helped out, that LISTENED. Now all I get is trolls that report you for literally saying hi. I have been cursed out, bitched at, even had racial slurrs thrown at me (you know which), simply because I tried to communicate. And ranked? Jesus christ, it's even worse. I don't know what Riot did but I feel like I got screwed over for no reason. I have like 700 wins or so, and getting matched up with fresh 30s. Does that even make sense at all? I had one dude literally go in my lane and feed the whole match because I "took his lane". I was first pick in draft pick. and he didn't say a word. And this? This is a common occurrence. I just wonder, is Riot ever going to do anything about these type of players? Or am I never going to have a nice day at League again? 1 good match, 50 horrid ones. I'm gonna be Bronze forever.

It's feeders, AFKs or lags every other game.

lol I've reached the point where I care so little about this game, I'm surprised if i could care less. Why is this game so famous? It's nothing but toxicity and bad sportsmanship. I've never met worse people in my life than the ones I've met on here. After every match, I have to ask myself, Is it really possible to do this bad at something? Is it possible for me to hate people so much without knowing them? This game is pretty much people having fun at others' expense, and when it gets shut down because of all the adderol and toxicity and online bullying and every other bad thing that this game brings forth? I will be the first one to say, "Called it!" I legit feel the mods don't care. They really don't. Because if they did, this game wouldn't be such a hellhole. I used to love it, really. but now? I keep wondering why the hell do i come back to this? there's this small glimmer of hope that says, "Youll have a good match" and then people talk.

Honestly, toxicity is just a result.

I mean, you can go 0/20 and say "Sorry, have a bad game" and that makes it okay for Riot.

Sorry if that came off as rude, just the truth, currently, your MMR is above your current rank, but below the average which I believe is 1 k, that is why you get ranked with unranked players.

Rank means absolutely nothing, it is ALL based off MMR, you can be bronze rank playing with challenger players with a high enough MMR, and vice versa. The average MMR I believe is 1000, so if a brand new unranked player plays in your game, it isn't impossible because your MMR is 935. More or less, as long as you win 51% of your games or higher, your rank will improve and luckily for you, because of your current win streak, your MMR is a good 200 points above your current rank, so if you keep winning and hit promos, you might jump to bronze 2.

More or less yeah, that is how MMR works, and all matches, but ranked and normal have two separate MMRs.

So just have to deal with people's crap match in and match out? Sounds horrid. guess ill start muting them the second they get uber toxic. I dont exactly like muting people though, because of communication. not like there is much anyways

Last I heard, the "default" that new players start at is 1200 MMR.

That may have changed, but it seems to fit with the Provisional experiences I've tracked (from friends).

Idk how you managed to find yourself in that position, I have consistently found less trolls and abusive teammates than back when I started in Season 3. So, maybe you are just unlucky, or maybe it is you. If you aren't enjoying yourself, I encourage you to quit regardless of the reason why you aren't enjoying yourself. I still think the game is great and the community is for the most part, decent.

Well for a while I was quite a toxic player. People would spit trash at me and, being angry, I retaliated. I'm not toxic anymore, but that doesn't stop the trolls of reporting me. But Riot knows I'm not so whatev. I honestly find no enjoyment unless I'm playing with friends. And lately, those friends are never on so...
