Every game in my placements I've had toxics and afks and presume that my season will be filled with this. I got put into B 5 which upsets me cause I know I can be better but can't carry 4v5's. Should I just quit, this game is making me miserable. All my friends got silver but I'm stuck in b5. Should I just quit and go try another game?

Play normals with your silver friends till you calm down and get better. You can get out, and a positive attitude is one of the best ways to consistently win games. Encourage your teammates and make them think they are better than they are. Learn to CS. After every death (regardless of whose fault it was) think of what you could've done to play better (whether your challenger or bronze 5 you can never play any fight perfectly and can learn something from every death) . If you want to play ranked and not be miserable you need to play ranked in order to get better.

Take every win (and especially every loss) as a learning experience and you will be better in no time. ELO does not matter. Getting better does. Take breaks if you are upset. AFK's will happen, but they will also happen just as much (statistically they will actually happen more) to the other team. Work hard and encourage your teammates to play better and you will be out of that elo hell in no time. Good luck and keep your head up.

You could work on generating more IP. I'm not sure if you spent it all on champs or not, but I looked at your Yasuo ranked game and I noticed you were using a rune page that is only using 22 runes instead of 30, which is the maximum. Boost your rune collection, and that should help your performance. You might want to stay away from ranked if you don't mind challenging games. If you want to play with players roughly at your level, keep playing ranked games. If you're capable of learning from better players, go into normal games for a while for generating IP. If playing unfair games in normal games frustrates you too much, try to play a mix of both.

I'm considering leaving LoL myself, there's way too many toxic players (mainly for no reason) Like just last game I joined game lobby first, then everyone else connected, i chose support, (called it first) then as i hit lock, i saw a sona, who connected 2nd, locked in sona support. Never called it or anything, and then my team started calling me "bad thresh, bitch thresh". For what? me locking in accidentally after not noticing an autolocker locking in. So all game they were trash talking me, calling me bad, even though i was 2-0 and sona (bot ally) was already 0-3. They didnt say a thing to her all game other than call me bad, and saying im worst thresh na. These types of games and types of people occur too much when i play lol. I've heard poeple who play LoL tend to be my age (17). Which i don't get how someone my age can act like theyre 12. they judge you for every mistake you make. And curse at you all game for nothing. So at the end of the game, They slandered me and told the opposing team to report me and i autolocked, and labling me a troll. Then later I look at thier profiles and they're just complete garbage... their runes are trash as well as their match history and rank (Im in bronze because i dont play ranked anymore but they were only silver and b4)

So yeah, quit LoL so you can lose your virginity and before you turn into a rank judging asshole who judges you based off of 0 information. I think I talked myself into quitting.

play for fun, ranked is just one aspect of league. once i started having fun no matter how the game was going i started to play a bit better and floated up to silver.

of course not i was placed there too. just farm and ward like normal and you'll win the game. the mistakes in this quagmire are ridiculous. you can exploit that so hard. just have fun, you wont be there long!

Bronze V is very easy.

Pick a hypercarry or assassin.

Go 20-0 for 10 games in a row.

Hit bronze IV without losing a single 5v5.

Then quit, having proven your point. If you just quit after placements you'll look like a noob.

Add me in game (Astral Zephyroro) Im barely silver 4 but I got some people I run with and you could just run with us? After running a few normals with us you can see if anyone fits your play style to duo with.

silver players have the potential to carry 4v5s in Bronze 5 with their main the 1-2 platinum+ urgot mains have the potential to carry 4v5s in Bronze with urgot. I'm pretty sure bronze players can carry 4v5s in Bronze 5 with an OP champ

I got gold V last season after I was in bronze V.. All you need is a good duo partner, grit, and a good spirit!

Well if you want to play with your firends you should do a couple things:

  1. Mute everyone in game. If everyone is being toxic then mute them so you don't have to actually read what they say.

  2. Get better. Not in the harsh sense, but if you have friends who are better try to get them to help you improve. Learn from what they are doing. Now when you are realy low it will take a bit of luck to actually improve, but you can do it if you focus on what you are doing/need to do and ignore what your teammates are doing wrong.

in short..yes

if its making you miserable then this is no longer doing what it was supposed to, let you relax and have fun

its a game, I haven't played a single match since patch hit, seeing the slap on the wrist zed got like Its gonna do a dam thing , and the knee jerk nerfs and buffs where they are not needed, show me that riots game got too big for their hands they backed themselves into a corner by giving to much focused to the pro/ranked lcsbigplays scene , now they have an infested balance minefield to thread and they need to cater to millions of people now

truth be told ive had more fun at dota 2 again lately than im having here on account that in dota I don't feel as forced to follow the meta, I don't feel so bad if I lose I KNOW I got outplayed , and most of the time , people don't ragequit there, they just build differently or try to backdoor or whatev , if I get an afk I get loss forgiven and I can leave after ten mins in short, im not saying its a better community or better game, but I suffer less stress there..

also , heroes of the storm coming out soon, I had some spare cash, was gonna buy a 20 rp card to get challenger ahri skin and a few boosts maybe that arbiter velkoz skin looks great, but tbh id rather spend the 40 on early hots access , get three herous a mount and a skin for each , everything ive been seeing about that game makes me wanna like it more, no items , no gold, shared xp , its about objectives and using map advantages in your favor, building talents accordingly to counter enemies its great and fresh

my advice is switch up mobas/games and leave the game for a while , I just check the boards, play those games , even picked up starcraft 2 again with expansion see if I finally get around to doing that zerg campaign

I dont understand what you mean, just play Normals with your friends, or make a 5v5 team if you have enough people. If you absolutely want to do ranked then just improve your gameplay and climb out of Bronze one division at a time :) it can be done it will require a bit of work though. Good luck on that, im sure i will also be placed in Bronze this season so ill be climbing up the same as you (and everybody else it seems haha)
