Why do you get leaver busted

when you have trouble connecting to a game. I didn't connect till 14min but i still stayed and played it out with my team we lost at like 40 minutes. Its only like a 4min suspension but still come on really. It's annoying

Edit for clarity so I have had it explained to me why there's a punishment attached to it and Im ok with that. What I don't get is why did I lose the three extra lp I thought that was just for dodging games. Also I am just assuming that's where the -3 lp came from because I dont dodge often and can honestly say I haven't dodged in months.

As to leaver buster hitting the first offense I was actually just referring to the lil 5min ban that you normally get for dodging not an actual suspension or anything.

hold on a minute i lost 3 lp without even dodging a game.... i want my lp back

Leave Buster is working properly when it penalizes you for this.

The other 9 people shouldn't have their experience ruined because your machine/internet can't handle the game. You need to fix your problem if you want to play with others. Until then, stick to bot games.

Not trying to be rude, just providing an explanation; try to think about it from the other gamer's perspective. Queuing up like you are ready to play, then not joining the game, is extremely frustrating to everyone else.
