Is it okay to throw a game on purpose if a player on your team deserves to lose?

Recently, I was playing ahri and our blitzcrank and his 3 premade teammates were insulting me. Badly. So I was fairly fed, 10/4/13 when he started calling me stupid for when he got caught. This was when I had enough and went to afk at base. (Note: this was late game already and I was carrying the fights, our team just finished baron) and went to 4v5. They lost badly and we lost the game. I felt good even though we lost, but I can't help but wonder if it was the right thing to do. Sure I could've won the game muting them but I felt that we deserved to lose and the enemy team deserved to win. Was this a fair choice? (Note: all others were being toxic too)

Because you left/threw the game, they are now justified in reporting you. Obviously they deserve reports as well, but toxic behaviour is reportable no matter who the target.

Just mute them and report them after the game.

If you're carrying the game & your 4 random premade just being toxic on you for no reason, it seems like the best idea to do so. Or you can read this thread if you ever ran into another type of douchebags like this one:

Rarely successful, but it'll be worth it. ( A tad different situation, but you get what I mean )

I honestly don't think it's anyone's right to say what games people should or shouldn't win.

Also fun fact (As I think this somewhat pertains to this scenario), in the LCS it's in the contracts that the players have to fill out before they are accepted that states that they must play their games to the best of their ability in the intent to win and never throw a game for any reason. If they break this rule and are found guilty, then they face major punishment and a fine.

There was a team last year that was so far ahead in the game that they started building items that you wouldn't build on the champions they had. One was a champion that was AD and everything of theirs scaled with AD and one players built AP items. They got into trouble and the team was fined.
