Well I can agree with the Bronze and Silver, but I never been higher yet. I still think Gold is bad as Silver lower elo ones mainly.
I've climbed from mid gold to Plat 2 promos in the last couple of months, 2 seasons back I was low silver (possibly high bronze), I reguarly duo with people up to Diamond 3, so I've got some experience in every division.
I agree pretty strongly with what's been said.
The most toxic range was low Plat - High gold. From very roughly Plat 2 and up, I've found the toxicity has fallen off dramatically. It's still there, but nowhere near to the same extend, in my experience.
One also can't go around blaming one's self for mistakes that others commit. So while you may have to make adjustments in-game to compensate for deficiencies in someone else's play, you shouldn't blame yourself for their mistakes. Above all, don't rage. That helps no one.
Is pointing out a mistake and explaining said mistake but not in a blaming matter really blaming?
Everyone takes it negatively but realistically when I initially start talking about a mistake i bring it up in a discussion type manner. I want to pick apart the game and bounce what i perceived off people in the game. I don't care who made the mistake, If my team lost, then we all made mistakes, myself included. I want to learn but every discussion turns everyone defensive and i really cant sit there analyzing the game if no one will just detach and talk.
I'm Bronze and I almost never flame, but i always think to myself who to blame for our losses. Any tips on how to critisize myself and improving?
