Sometimes you make a mistake in champ select or just down right want to do it just because to the point you actually pulled through and win the match with Sightstone in hand.
What do you pick that isn't the main support line of champs? (Normals or Ranked) Such a another ADC or AP carry or some Jungler.
I did a Vayne support recently. Didn't go well in the laning phase, but worked out with deletion of tanks.

Worked similar to Leona during laning phase (but with higher cds) but late phase she worked similar to a jungler sejuani, she scaled much better than leona. I think is worth mentioning I was runing mana regen runes so I could spam her Q, Otherwise you can go oom relatively fast.

AP puts soooo much pressure on the other enemy lane, while my untouchability makes me safe to use. ADC in trouble? BOOM jack ass in the box to fear your bitch ass away plus my flying homing knife of rape you to make sure your bitch ass stays far away.
Support. That was one annoying lane.

Between the slow, damage boost, and rescue-pull on the Calling.. part of me really wants to try

I like doing Fiddlesticks Support. The silence and fear are both great assets for harass and escape. It's worked in my favor for the most part
I played support TF and it was hilarious, I just threw out gold cards at their ADC and zoned him so hard, it was an easy lane for us.

These are all off colour support picks that i have tried/seen and worked at least reasonably well.
My duo partner and I both play
