Pumpkin carving event timing could've been better

Third time posting this as I seem to have posted it in the wrong boards. Wish Riot would move it instead of delete it entirely, because I have no clue where this should go. I tried Community Creations, Boards Feedback, and now here; however, here it stands yet again.

I don't want to come off as ungrateful or anything, but I just feel, with the limited time available to purchase some of the older skins for champs and the RP prize pool, the pumpkin carving contest could've went from like, the beginning of October, and maybe a week or two into October, and then a week or so of voting, so that way, winners could be announced BEFORE Halloween, and they could purchase those skins. I mean, if I were to win any amount of RP, I'd have loved to be able to purchase me a Zombie brand :< I love that dude. Thoughts?
