@Riot, Will you ever VU champions whose lines no longer make sense?

For example, Maokai. His original lore had him as a regular tree with sentience and power unwillingly thrust on him as a result of too much magic being flung around, and all his abilities and lines reflected that. But now, his current lore is just that he's some nature spirit who wants to bring life back to the Shadow Isles. Okay, it's a lot less creative and terribly uninteresting, but not too offensive. So why does Maokai still say that "I would end this burden, but it always returns"? If he's the last hope for a dying land, why exactly is he trying to repeatedly kill himself?

Another is Skarner. Originally, he was one of an ancient race that was hibernating until the world was no longer unsafe for them to live, the crystal vanguard meant to gauge when the time was right for them to once again live. His VO reflects that, with such lines as "This world is so strange", "we await our time", "the crystal scar is weeping", and, of course, "I miss my kind." But now he's just some sparkly thing guarding an underground cavern. Maybe he just went crazy after guarding it for so long, or something? (Please please please do not make that his official lore.)

I'm not asking for the lore changes to be thrown out; I know that won't happen. I know you guys will have to rewrite basically every background up until Darius; that's fine, if that's what you want. I'm just asking that those champions whose actual, in-game voice no longer makes any sense given their new backgrounds be changed such that they're not just spouting off nonsense.
