Since i can't seem to restrain myself from going off on the biggest idiots in league, I decided I'd go out and buy a second keyboard. Then on my old Keyboard I took out all the Keys accept Q W E R & 1 2 3 4 My D & F are saved to my gaming mouse along with some other hotkeys.

Since Riot doesn't want to add in such a very simple function like "Chat Disable" that people have been wanting for years where you can Disable chat before the match so you can't see or type anything I solved the problem and now no more Verbal abuse reports.. I can't really Think of anything negative I could possibly say with Q W E R & 1 2 3 4

There Riot, Did your job for you :D

It isn't RIot's job to make sure you control your reactions.

You should see that there's something wrong with your self control if you need to mutilate a keyboard just so you can play the damn game.

Why is everyone giving this guy credit? He obviously has anger-issues that has nothing to do with Riot, yet he's blaming them. It would be more funny if he wasn't directly telling Riot it's their fault that he can't control himself, but he is.

It makes sense.. Kinda but all of us always have that fire deep in our stomachs when see a Nocturne ult with 200 hp in to a damn 9/0/0 riven and blame team for not focusing right -_-. It's really really hard to not call somebody what they are being we all have dealt with it now i'm not saying that's the best thing to do but it's so damn hard to call somebody a dumb ass when they are being a dumb ass

Realistically speaking, it's not Riot's job to prevent you from typing something in response; that comes down to individual self control. The problem with adding a feature like this in an official capacity is that it can be viewed as Riot supporting the idea that it's fine for a player to not communicate with his or her team.

Personally, I find chat to be extremely important even if someone on my team is being a derp. If someone makes repeated mistakes and my chat is disabled, I can't point out what's going on so we can try to fix it before the game ends. I can't figure out who on my team has certain things available for use, so if I need a particular item active from a support we can't move forward. I can't explain brief strategy, like splitting to have one top and the rest fall into mid.

There are just so many limitations to gameplay when disabling chat, I can't see Riot ever adding a feature that allows a player to completely turn it off entirely.

What i did was reduce chat size to the smallest size. Hardly can see it, thus dont pay attention to it!

Wait what do you do if you have 5 or more activatable items? I usually end up with 5 activatable items and boots as a mage support in the latgame (sighstone, boots, locket/banner, talisman/frost queen's, mikael's cruible, twin shadows/zekes/zhonyas + trinket on 4). I can also see some assasins going over like if you build ghostblade, hydra, bork, randuins, mercurial scimitar. Sure these are rare scenarios haha but hopefully you have more room on your mouse!

Whatever works for you, buddy. I'd think muting all and just having the self-control to not type would have been an easier solution, but I guess some people need to take it a step further. >_>;
