Is Azir still viable?
I kinda want to try him since he is free, but then he got nerfed into the ground, and then slightly "un-nerfed"? Is he still an option on the table?

Yes he is. All champions are viable. The question you mean to ask is "Is Azir optimal?" in which case really depends on how much you are willing to invest in him. Azir has a high skill floor and an even higher skill cap. In order to use him properly you will have to play quite a bit with him which not alot of people have the patience for and give up before they get good enough. But i believe once you hit the point where you are playing him at a very good level, you will dominate games. Just my honest opinion.
He is quite viable, except he's a lot riskier now. You just need to know how to position and reposition yourself and your soldiers.
