How to improve capture quality of replay highlights?

Hi I'm just wondering if there are any options I need to fiddle with to get better highlights, because right now they are potato quality. There was even some fps lag while recording the clip, so it may be hardware limitation (I'm on a laptop) but I wanted to check to confirm. Should I turn down graphics in the replay before trying to capture? Or change resolution? I'm gonna try a couple things but wanted to check if anyone here knows and can help! Thanks friends.
