Lee sin and Kha'zix are champions that take practise. Nocturne is becoming better, but there's still better options. Aurelion Sol and Karthus are team enabler champions. They are strong on their own, but they are also very fragile. You'll feel powerless many games until you "git gud". Zed and Malzahar are almost always banned (mainly Zed), so you won't have a change to play them.
VI is a really good fit. She has one of the most impactful abilities in the game (get it?) and she can fit most team-comps. Shaco is one of my favorite champions. You shouldn't buy him tough.
This really depends on your play style, what lane you like, what lane you're good at, and what lane you want to be good at.
