@ Riot, Concerning Ranked
I am not a perfect League player. I have my good days and my bad days, but usually i play about the same for the role im playing. Im bad at top most days, decent at support as well as mid, the other lanes just depend on my attitude. However, one thing concerns me that i cannot seem to shake off. Ranked. I play ranked frequently, and i find myself wondering why the ranked system is how it is and if riot is thinking about ever changing it. I say this because frankly, it doesnt seem to ever match me with people of my skill ranking. Yes, i understand they are usually near my ranking (s3), but it always amazes me at how uncaring everyone i get matched with is. Not only this, but everytime i get into series, it seems like the server matches me with people who have been reported for things, like it purposely puts me on a team full of the "bad" players. I say "bad" as in mannered, not skill level. I feel like everytime i get to series, it gives me the trolliest, rudest people who are q'ued up to play. I have literally been in my series to get to s2 9 times and i cant win. I will win games in a row and get to series, and as soon as i get into series, i get the most toxic players. A Sion troll dies in baron pit, a brand feeds a mid fiora and blames, duo support bot lane, teemo jungle, katarina support, autolocks, spammers, afks, quiters...... im just so tired of how this is set up. It doesnt seem like a skill based game but more of a luck based game.
"Are you lucky enough to get on the team that cares, or will you just lose another series?" "Are you lucky enough to get the team who doesnt have an afk for 15 mins, or are you not?"
Anyways, enough of that, my main question is what are you plans for ranked? I know team builder is coming up, but what other plans are in store for ranked ? Will there be improvements based on solo play? Would riot ever think about doing ranked lp and "wins" based off of solo play rather than team wins? Like, base your lp gain and loss and win or loss off of champion grade from that match played along with how your team played?
Anyways, thank you for your time.
