Zilean vs Cho'Gath
I'm saving up my IP to try a mage champion but I want one that doesn't die often I've heard that Zilean has an ultimate that can revive him but I've also saw that Cho'Gath was a tank. Which one should I get?

I would generally pick Zilean over Chogath, because Chogath is a juggernaut sorta style champ, he's very kite able, Zilean has cc, waveclear, 99% slow and a lot more, his revive is very good aswell.
Cho Gath is meele, so it still can be that you die often on early levels before you get tanky.
Zilean is more of a safe mage because of his Range and Ult, but he is squishy af.
other Mage champions that can protect themselfs well are:
Can frezze herself/enemy with Ult, has escape/engage and a safe lane phase
Passive spellshield, Ult point and click Lockdown and also has Range.
then there are big Range Mages like

who can do damage from a big distance, but they struggle when someone comes in Range.
But, play whatever Champion you like. there are agressive/safe Champions, but the Champion himself doesn't guarantee if you "die often/not often", it all depends on how well you play them and if you know what you can and what you cannot do with the Champion.
Yeah it depends what you want. Maxing Zilean's slow first is brutal gank-denial, but typically my ADC is complete clown who things if I'm not nuking, I'm a newb.
Cho seems to never die, but that's also because my top laner fed him, because he is also a complete clown.
Definitely Zilean in my opinion.The gank denial, speed up of allies trying to catch that enemy with 5hp left for the kill secure, the double bomb stun that turns the whole team fight around, leveling ur adc up to stay in lane or bully the lane more with more powerful spells and the life saving ult that brought back a tank or adc to keep steamrolling the other team......Zilean my friend.
Since they changed cho gath he's more tank then mage, so I don't like him anymore. So zilean, plus he can be a support
