Help with Facebook group

I have started a Facebook group like LoH and LP only better (without the negativity etc). The only thing is I can't get people to join. I have advertised in group, on pages, in games, here, and on different servers. But rarely any1 joins. I was wondering if anyone has any tips or suggestions that will help.
