One annoying thing is hearing people say shit like "Why do you have a skin if you suck?" Like a skin i bought with my own money. Not Riot gave to me because im good. Or a trophy of my 5 penta kill in 1 game. PLEASE if you are one of these people. STFU WITH YOUR DUMB SHITTY IGNORANT ASS!summoner 11 Chogath item 3025

The idea behind it is 'If you spend money on it, you must enjoy it AND be pretty good at it.' which I usually find is true, even in games where the person wearing the skin isn't doing so hot they still have better performance (or at least are having more fun) than some no skin people playing that champion. Mileage varies because some people shiver when they see a Legacy Ribbon Kitty Katarina or a Definitely Not Blitzcrank. Skins seem to imply Veterancy if not Mastery because 'I paid money for this!'

That doesn't make it true.

honestly i dont get it either. i buy a skin because i like the skin, or champion with the skin. i dont buy it because im "pro" and do well in every single game i use the champion in. its irritating when people say stupid stuff like that, but i dont let it get to me. if anything i just laugh!
