Just played a ranked game with my brother and had to deal with this kid the whole game.

He made my brother feel terrible and there was a hell of a lot more things he said.

Can someone please talk to this person and set him straight and make sure he knows what the rules of this game are.

This sucks and that person should be punished (he will be if he acts like this normally and continuously gets reported), but the rules of the forum prevent us from calling them out on it (called "Name & Shame") and only results in the thread being deleted. If you want to make additional reports against a person you feel a regular post-game report isn't enough for, you can submit a Support Ticket to have someone possibly take a look at the logs and determine if immediate punishment is appropriate. They aren't allowed to tell you if they did, though.

Other than that, there is not much that can be done. These people will always exist, so it's up to the victim to try and mute and report them, and not let what they say bother them (because mute doesn't work in the lobby).

Also, after a game with someone you absolutely don't want to queue again with, delay requeueing for a minute to drastically reduce the chance you queue up at the same time as them and end up grouped in another match. This obviously wasn't your problem, but if it happens you will hate it.

Sadly things like this are way too common in this type of game! The best and only thing you can do right now is to report him. Assuming you guys didnt retaliate it will go in your favor! Also remember if this happens too often remember to mute them in game as well! While it is rank and people do take it much more serious than say Normals, or other non-rank queue, this type of things should not be tolerated!

Press tab, hit mute, go on with your life.

Report after the game if you must, but do not engage. Do not partake of the insanity. Do nothing.

He didn't "make" your brother feel anything, your brother got caught in a spider's web of crazy and didn't have the good sense to get the hell out of there.

It's unfortunate, but that's what anonymity does to some people, and until they are ready to change their ways NOTHING anyone says or does will do anything at all to curb the behavior. So your job is to do nothing.
