Attempting to reconnect needs to be fixed.

Im bad at adc·10/4/2015, 3:46:10 AM·1 votes·1,278 views

Earlier today I was playing ranked 5s with some buddies and during the game my internet, with too many people starts messing up. Alright, i'll wait for it to reconnect. Well, my internet does reconnect, League doesn't. I have to leave the game, close the client, re-open, re-log. Now I'm in low-priority queue because of something that's wrong with the client.

Yes, I know my internet dcing me from game is my fault, but I would've reconnected if the system wasn't so messed up.

I feel your pain. My computer is pretty toast and occasionally it decides to kick me out from a match. It takes absolutely ages to reopen everything and load back in. It's been a long lasting problem and annoying that Riot still hasn't gotten on it.

Maybe you should get better internet. If you were on my team when your internet cut I wouldn't have hesitated to report you for AFKing. This is a game where your team relies heavily on you to stay connected.

Listen here. This problem has been happening to me for months, but I didn't complain to Riot. It's your fault for playing with too many people on your internet. This has has happened to many people. I always reconnect in time so I don't get my low priority gone. This is how I do it (On windows 7): Alt + TAB out of league of legends (when it says reconnecting). Now I go to Computer, C disk, Riot Games, League of Legends, RADS, System, now run rads user kernel as admin. Now go back 2 steps and click lol.launcher.admin. It's gonna ask if you want to terminate League. Say yes.

I would just like to agree with you 100%. I've noticed this bug (unless it's intended) as well. As a matter of fact, we used to have quick bursts of disconnects frequently. At the time, League would d/c, then after the internet came back, the game would reconnect. I could even switch Internet sources and it would take all of 5 seconds of being disconnected before I could play again. However, ever since the Summoner's Rift visual update any change of internet source (d/c or otherwise) is met with the impossibility of reconnecting to the game without restarting the entire client. I'm not sure what cause this change upon updating the Rift, but I would also appreciate if it was fixed.

I'd recommend using the technique I showed you previously or getting a new computer. I know it sounds pretty hard to afford a new computer, but when you do, get an All-in-one PC from MSI. They're really good and they can even double your internet speed. You'll have the edge over your family, connection wise.
