So there's a gifting option when i saw this i said "Is someone really going to gift a stranger a skin?" like have you seen the world we live in XD that's my thoughts on that you guys can tell me yours 
I've gifted a few, seen others gift through it occasionally. If you don't like to gift people for a great job or attitude in your match or anything, you don't have to, but there are those that do.
There are people that do it. Take a look at the 4th "Best" post in the misc. boards. It is a guy asking Riot to do something for his friend Kenny. Kenny who just happens to be the nicest freaking person in the world.

So yeah, there are people who gift after matches. I honestly would too if I had the disposable income.
