A friend found a great lore idea for League.

So a friend and I were talking and he came up with a great idea to have League of Legends lore.

He's recently gotten into League in December and after looking at he old lore, he wishes he was here for it. Hearing that so far nothing has been created has kind of pushed him away from league, saying that lore gives purpose to the fight. So I tried to tell him about the new lore, about how every champion are just legends that are all living or was once living in this universe and now they're either dead or retired.

So he said, how cool would it be if the actual game took place hundreds or maybe thousands of years after these Legends are set in and have summoners be people who brought these legends back to life and have them battle it out to see which was the best.

It sounds really dark but it would be a cool story for the game atleast. This would allow the lore team to do whatever they wanted while the games lore could actually engage people more.

I.E. Someone talks about how Thor could easily destroy Hercules. Well, scientist bring the heros recreate the heros with their full power and battle it out.

Like a Deathbattle meets Deadliest Warrior, they could call it, Deadliest Legend or something.

It's an idea not sure how it would go over.
