Anyone know if plays.tv triggers a ban?

I want to be able to record some parts of games and plays.tv seems to be pretty popular. But I'm wondering if it will be considered a 3rd party interaction/scripting that is ban worthy or could get a person banned. Any help would be appreciated. Especially from a @Riot employee. If you know of one that for sure isn't and is endorsed would be great.

Riot specifically stated that Plays.tv won't get you banned. Raptr (which lately a lot of Windows 10 users received) can get you banned because it messed with the Resolution to a size which Riot insta-bans you for using.

Gotcha. Thanks man.

That's not necessarily true either because a lot of the people claiming that had actually been boosted... by someone who used scripts without their consent.

Things that record games and then play them back afterwards will not get you banned

I just thought I read somewhere that it was considered a 3rd party interaction and in riots rules can be a case for a ban. Just trying to cover my tracks is all.
