I just reported a player for abusive language and trolling. Than in the next match hes on my team again. Please make it so we don't have to play with the same trolling abuser two games in a row when a report was made against them. There are enough people playing this game to where i should never have to play with him again. 2nd game from champion select the guy was at it again, and why are they not muted in champion select from the previous game.
Blacklisting players from the queue would result in a Prisoner's Island, which is something Riot is specifically trying to avoid on the grounds that it does nothing to reform toxicity. It would also be abusable at high elo, because you could literally blacklist every other player that plays your role or champion you don't like.
The solution is to just wait a minute to requeue after a lobby or match that had a player you don't want to queue close to and risk being matched with.
i think reporting only works if multiple players report the same guy , so far I've never seen a player i reported with chat muted or simply banned for being a bot account. yet i have had my chat banned for trolls and their troll friends accusing me of verbal harassment even though i never said a word on chat
It happens, but it's pretty rare. It's also something you can solve yourself. Waiting about 2-15 minutes after a game will ensure that you won't be matched up with any of the players from your last game.
