Fix huge text from high resolution monitors after patch 5.15

I have windows 10 and to fix the enormous text where they were overlapping and ineligible. Go into your display settings. Go into advanced display settings. Go to advanced sizing of text and other items. Go to set a custom scaling level . Mine was at 250% default for a 4k monitor. I turned it down to 200% and it made the letters big still but made it so there not overlapping and causing serious issues. Hope this helps someone out.

Thanks for the fix! at least now i can play it. It was horrible having to ask my friend everyone's stats every 20 seconds. However it's made everything else really fucking small on my pc and being a laptop the screen isn't especially large making reading things really hard. Riot hasn't had support for 4k in the past and i thought that was bad, but at least it was playable. Now its worse. Come on riot, get your shit together. 4k is too big now for them to be fucking people over like this

It's still pretty obnoxious. I'm also getting massive stuttering on 5.15 using a GTX 980Ti which is wayyyy more than power enough to play League.

I got a nice new 4k gaming laptop so that i could game while travelling, only to discover that the games i want to play (LOL amongst them) are totally unplayable. Don't want to put this totally on Riot since the laptop vendors should be pushing from their end also, but just in case Riot is ignoring them...

Riot, seriously. you need to fix this.

Note that i can repro this on windows 8.1

All text in-game UI (cooldown timers, KDA, cs, etc) are all 250% large and bleed into each other, making them totally unreadable, since the fonts are scaled by the OS-level text-scaling for 4k displays.

You can't access the correct setting to tweak with this in the default Windows Display settings (you have to go to the legacy control panel etc as outlined in the first post). This "workaround" is not a good fix since it makes text in all other programs unreadably small. If i have to relog my windows session every time i want to play LOL, then i stop wanting to play LOL.
