needed 200 ip for a name change, so i go to aram, but received no ip, why is this? not like i need ip as i got all my runes n champs i want, but to not receive any ip for my time is pointless to play it

You do get IP in ARAM. Most likely there was a visual error and you should relog, or you did get IP but it wasn't much and you didn't bother checking how much you had before so think you didn't get any. A 20 minute ARAM loss is not going to get you much.
First, check your match history. The game should show how much IP you won.
If that doesn't work, try logging out and back in in case it's a visual error.
Finally, you can try a support ticket throught the website. Link is in the top right of the website.
