I lost my promo because of frozen client.

During champ select of the 3rd and final match of my promo the game glitched and froze. I could still send chat messages but no one was responding. I tried waiting it out but nothing happened so I had to exit out of the client to get LoL back to normal but that forced me to lose my match and there fore my promo. I am not sure what can be done to prevent this but it should be looked at because now I am back to 90lp.
