I feel that Riot is shooting itself in the foot by not taking the occasional fan concept

I've been working on concepts for about as long as League has been out, but not a one has been made (although they've had similarities to ones that are now out). I know Riot's got that whole "we can't accept a fan idea because legal issues", but it feels to me like they're just gimping themselves by not occasionally looking at a fan concept and saying "Oh wow, we need to make this".

Hell, they don't even comment on concepts anymore, not even here. I've worked very hard on two Champion Concepts lately, but they NEVER get a red visit despite receiving good reviews.
