LeaverBuster Should Detect The Difference Between Quitting, Afkng, and Internet D/C's

Two days ago my internet got cut off due to the bad weather as I was joining a ranked game. It was no way my fault I left the game. Here I am logging in and I find that I'm receiving a warning for leaving games and must type "I Agree". I figured since Nemesis Draft can detect the difference between Internet D/C's and quits, why doesn't ranked LeaverBuster? Now here I am scared to play ranked because I don't want some ban ranked due to my internet possibly going out.

If a 4v5 sucks just as much when the player quits as when they afk or dc, I don't think they should count differently. I know dc's happen, but Riot also doesn't ban you on the first offense, do they? If you dc somehat frequently and still don't do anything to stop burdening your team with 4v5s, well... I wouldn't be upset if leaverbuster got that player.

To be fair, though, Riot needs to be a little better about turning on loss forgiveness or turning off leaverbuster when the problem's on their end.

My understanding is that they show the warning first time regardless of the situation. For Nemesis Draft Riot claims they can tell if your ISP gives up on you. Quitting and AFKing are basically the same and are problems on the players end.

Riot said that it DOES know the difference between when your isp is taking a crap and when you decide to crap on your teammates.

GreenHocker that's #100% Bull Shit. My ISP and net have crashed on me before and I come back in finish the game and I get leaver buster punished lol. This is how LEAVER BUSTER WORKS

  1. You LEAVE FOR ANY REASON (EVEN IF ITS BEYOND YOUR CONTROL). You get the Boot.

  2. Don't like it. Quit Bitching and Un-install

  3. That is all.
