When you join champion select, there are 5 buttons on the right. Each one is for each role. When someone clicks a button, it displays a message that says "(playername) wants to go (lane selected)!" So all of the players know who got which lane goes first.
Even if this idea isn't good, we need something to stop these arguments. They happen almost every game.

So the role goes to the one with the fastest computer.

the problem is that people with slow internet connections will join the lobby after someone has claimed a role and they won't see it
there's also ping being a factor - if i have 100 ping and someone else has 100 ping then thats a 200 ping window that i can type something in the chatbox and it will appear on my screen before it appears on theirs. that problem wouldn't be solved by a button because there would still be a 200 ping delay.
