For a free to play game I've spent more money on this game than any other game I've ever owned; and that's because this is an amazing game. I could go to gamestop and spend 60$ on call of duty or whatever is popular right now, beat it in a day and play the same multiplayer over and over and over and the only change i will see is a DLC for 30$ with like 4 new maps whoo!

Riot is always changing, always improving, always releasing new champions or skins or game-types or community events. I always look forward to seeing what new things are on the way or whats being changed for better or worse, because shit at least you're trying. You get involved with the community answering their questions, letting players play with employees, setting up fun ways for people to get involved, sharing community creations, and all around do an awesome job at what you do. The other day i saw a person post they made it to 1000 ranked wins and wanted to play with a riot employee to celebrate and you know what? A riot employee commented on that and said let's do it! That's so cool and riot is the only company connecting with their community like this.

TL;DR You guys catch a lot of heat from the community about the small things they disagree with but i think you deserve a pat on the back rito, you done good. I've been playing since season 2 and to compare that game to the well-polished world renowned game it is today is astounding. You guys have come so far and will continue to do so and that's why i love riot as a company and league as a game. Keep up the good work, can't wait to see what season 6 has in store :D

Her Q and E are pink on the SG skin. They're not hard to see, unless your not paying attention due to team fighting and all that other junk.

Well, I was Zed. So rip laning phase. I know they're pink, but they're VERY light pink is what I don't like. It's just kind of weird to look at. I can kind of see it but it's hard for me to look at.

You know what I wish for, though...

  • Monthly Champion Price reductions until we have close to 20 450, 40 1350, 40 3150, 30 4800, and the rest to be 6300 (or by that time, 10).
  • The Bilgewater map to return and allow either Freljord or Bilgewater to be a 1v1 or 2v2 for those who just want to face off without needing a custom map.
  • When you make and release a champion that's concepts were aided by players, give them some credit as to where and what inspired the champion from if and what they suggested.
  • I'd love a Riot games official application that had some features when on the go (like a step counter that gave IP from how many steps you took or something) and more look into any possible future apps * and maybe updates to past games like Blitzcranks
  • And this one is just for pleasure but in the champ updates area, can we have loading bar indicators showing the % on how far a champion is to being completed. I like surprises like the next guy but sometimes its a surprise in itself to see it finished. Sorry if its a lot...

It's so cool for me to have been playing since S1 to then get a job at Riot this year and discover that Rioters are some of the most passionate players around. That they, like myself, really care about the community and the future of the game. We are encouraged to interact with the players, play the game and push for ideas when we think they are really great and it's for those reasons that I love my job.

Trust is something we have to earn each day, anything we do is never perfect, we want every addition we make to be even better than the last and so it's wonderful to every so often hear that we are doing a good job. Many of us read player feedback incessantly and, despite the fact that we know it comes from a place of passion, take it very much to heart. So it's SUPER valuable to read something like this. I'll be sure to link it to my team!

Dont want to be that guy but, call of duty wasn't a good example because people buy it for the multiplayer and play it a good while. Furthermore, i spend less then 60 bucks a year on fighting games which last several months and more balanced.

Actually that makes it a damn perfect example. You spend all that money for the multiplayer and what you buy is what you get. They don't change it at all, or listen to feed back, or do anything creative no matter how much the community wants it. They have the maps made on the day the game releases BUT THEY HOLD THEM until x time after the game releases to sell as a "DLC" just to get maximum profits after release and keep their game "fresh and entertaining"

You say they play it for a good while... Ok well when a call of duty does yearly WORLD wide tournaments and has a GROWING community after over 6 years of FREE game improvement then we can talk. Call of duty wants money, they even have 2 companies making the same damn game and charge u 60$ for each new game, when the changes they make in a game are about equal to the changes riot makes in one patch... For free

I'm glad you enjoy your fighting games balancing but I don't see how that's relevant at all? Are you making a crack at riots balance team? Because making 2 characters balance on a 1v1 fight from a roster of about 20 to choose from is hardly the same as balancing champions from the pool league has in 5v5 fights with practically endless combinations of characters and situations.

You are being "that guy" but you're also bad at it. I don't mean to be salty but this thread is not the place for pessimism so just go away.

And one can also argue that not much changes between each Call of Duty game as well. 15 hour story, find the enemy, huge plot twist, satisfying ending, and for those who like the post game part of the game, multiplayer. Like you said, it IS the perfect example.

say what you want but it's a free game. If you want to look shiny and fancy then go ahead and spend your money but nothing compels you to do so other than your own interest in whatever you are buying. I spend money on the game because i enjoy the products they make and i want to support the company.

This company could be like World of Warcraft and charge you on a monthly basis just to be allowed to play, but they don't. So, why are you gonna play the game, or go on the boards for that matter, and talk down on a game that (at the end of the day) you still enjoy?

I'm playing since 2010 and this game is in a very sad state. Balance is a mess, Riot is bunch of hypocritical, lying jerks who barely listen to the community (but they did long time ago when the game wasn't that popular). But yeah, if you think that screwing up Cass rework and then ignoring the players is "improving", or maybe that 3 AD Vayne nerf, then I can't help you.

if you've been playing since 2010 then clearly you enjoy the game. Clearly you can see the vast improvements to the aesthetics and mechanics. Clearly you're an active member of their community and partake on the boards. So why come on to one of the few positive threads on the hot page, and talk down on a game you've enjoyed playing for 5 years now? You're butt-hurt that you think vayne is OP and the temporary fix made you salty? Or maybe you're just too ignorant to tell the difference between a company that's focused on community as compared to a company focused on profits.

League of Legends by player numbers: 67 million playing every month, 27 million playing every day, and over 7.5 million playing at the same time during each day’s peak play time.

yea, i bet it is a little easier to satisfy everyone when the player base then was 1 million active accounts. 1 million active accounts that means the game has 26 million more people logging in DAILY then what they had IN TOTAL in 2010, so i bet maybe it was a little easier to make everyone happy.
