LET US DODGE QUES AND LEAVE WHEN WE HAVE AFKS

I've been really frustrated with the quality of the teams I get matched with. I played 2 games yesterday and had 2 afks on my team one match 1 afk on my team the other. (I then stopped playing). Today I hopped in ranked Que and instantly knew we were gonna lose that match, we had a first time rek'sai, a "I ONLY PLAY MID" veigar 4th pick, and a "WOW I ALREADY PICKED MID I'M AFK" heim. They were all already arguing in champion select (this sort of thing happens a lot I'm sure other people are familiar). So then I'm faced with an option.

I either sit through the next 20 minutes and try to carry a game with a toxic team. or I can dodge, lose 5lp, and receive a 30 minute wait from queing again. (already used my 5 minute ban)

Now yeah I get that riot is trying to encourage people not to dodge because "that provides a negative experience for other players" but if I dodge I'm getting penalized while the persons who were raging/trolling are still out in the community with no repercussions. I honestly wouldn't care if I could just chose not to play with people I consider toxic without being penalized.

The second Issue is afks in game. I've grown accustom to just muting people who are raging. There's no helping them, they are usually delusional, and as long as they keep playing I can try to play with them and disregard what they are mad about. But when 2 people up and leave the game 5 minutes in that's a serious Issue for me. Cause now I have to sit there for at least another 15 minutes in a game that is virtually un-winnable. This normally also comes with the enemy team saying things like "You wern't gonna win anyway, you're pretty bad". Nothing is more frustrating than having to sit in a game where everyone can tower dive you, you have no chance at contesting objectives, and then when 20 minutes rolls around some people still won't surrender. And the person who AFKs just gets a slap on the wrist.

Now I don't believe that occasional afking should be punished to hard. After all everyone does it sometime. But I feel like there should be a system in game so that when someone leaves the other players don't have to continue playing. I think if someone has to go afk for more than 5 minutes all other players should be allowed to leave the match without penalty while the person who afk'd gets placed in low priority for each match left until they are made up and lose a big chuck of LP if it was ranked (like 40lp). If the person was in a party only the person who left would receive punishment unless the game was ranked then the party would also lose LP for the leaver.

It is just really frustrating not being able to play a match because of 1 or 2 toxic players. I feel like Riot has done a good job with punishing toxic players, however, you can never get rid of all toxicity. I think a system needs to be put in place so that non-toxic players and those who show good behavior are able to enjoy the game more. By not having to waste tons of time because of a few toxic players.

Maybe I'm just crazy who knows
