Why I can't Say ''GL & HF'' anymore

Ever since the addition of the brand new honour system (which I freaking LOVE! thanks riot <3) I cant tell my allies and opponents to ''GL & HF'' without everyone instantly flaming me, ''Honour hound'' ''honour whore'' are just 2 of ther names ive been called since, I feel like I'm not allowed to be myself without being flamed and/or name-called in league. Obviously its not a big issue, but it really puts a damper on my mood, I queue up to go have some fun, and I get that. I realise there is nothing anyone can do about it, so this is more of just me screaming into a void.

Secondly, To whom it may concern, if you see someone type ''gl hf'' don't be rude, just ''Thanks, you too!'' please, for my sake, not everyone is just farming honours, you know, there ARE people who aren't here just to ruin your day <3

I'm sure its not the worst community, its just the largest, and the more total people the more types of people per group, meaning, there are more bad people than in other games, due to the sheer numbers of players, also, in a majority of other games (at least the ones I play) you cant really speak to the enemy Smite no all chat, HotS no all chat, WoW I mean, you can talk to them, but you need a translator to understand what they are saying, also, toxic's are much more vocal than non-toxic's. how many times have you seen someone type ''wp'' after you outplay them? Now how many times have you seen a ''git gud'' or ''ez'' after they outplay you?

TL;DR League is the biggest video-game in the world (at the moment) with over 100 MILLION players, so of course there is gonna be more toxic people than a game with 100 players, not saying the community is perfect, just saying there will be more people in a certain group due to how many people play the game ^^

I always got told "have fun, no luck for you" whenever I said glhf so I just stopped lol Just ignore them :P they're probably the type of people to get dishonored.

they aren't toxic people, they were positive the rest of the game, so I can object to them getting dishonoured, but I don't really wanna stop, for the few people that appreciate it I wanna keep going, but the human brain remember bad things more than good, so the rude people stick out more :/

Well I mean calling you an "honor whore" right off the bat doesn't really set a "positive player" role to them (imo, granted not reported toxic but not exactly friendly either) Just keep going, there's always going to be rude people and I kind of just expected people to be this way with the new system. It's supposed to promote friendliness and cooperation among teammates (and enemies) but some people are just outright begging for honor (I haven't had a chance to hop into any games today but I've seen the boards today~) so they're probably bunching that together with anyone who is trying to be "overly friendly" despite the fact that glhf has been said waaaaay before this system was even a dream xD
