Fuck autofill.

I don't want to play supp. I am willing to wait much longer times to get into game if it means I get to play the game I want to play in the role I want to play. Games last 30-45 minutes. I don't like playing supp, or bot lane in general. It is not a fun experience for me. Some people don't care, fine, autofill them, but give us the option to turn this stupid feature OFF. Make it clear that we are liable to wait much longer to find a game if we have it turned off. You would IMMEDIATELY see a large number of people turning it off and sucking up the 8+ minute queue times, which would prove that the majority of the community doesn't want autofill. You'd still have some people who don't care with autofill on, so it would still be better queue times than we saw before autofill was introduced in the first place, but there is no reason to punish someone for leaving a lobby because they were forced into a role that they do not know, aren't good at, and don't want to play.

This is just for normal though, it should probably still exist in ranked. Ranked you play to win, it is more competitive, you aren't expecting to have fun, but normal games are casual, supposed to be FUN. You can't have fun if you're playing a role you hate because little jimmy wants to get in the game faster.

If you don't give us the option to turn off autofill, PLEASE, for the LOVE OF GOD, FIX THIS ISSUE: The worst thing about autofill is the fact that you can get your role, someone leaves, immediately get into a new lobby and you're suddenly support. That's FUCKING MENTAL.

Keep in mind riot, people don't always have the time to play a lot of games a day. So give us our fucking roles for the 2-3 god damn games we do have time for.

Ok lets implement 1hour que lines for those who dont want to autofill because why should we play 35-40 minutes while filled into support while you just wait 10 minutes . It should be fair right ? so lets make it 45 minutes just so it will be as high as a game time but it will be every game.

Or just lets do a special que for snowflakes that cant autofill once in like 10-15 games ( if not more for me its like every 15 games ) and you will wait 2-3 hours .

Just fucking suck it up and play support you get autofill protection after. We can argue about autofill protection being for more games but autofill really helps with adjusting que times considering there is 4 types of games ( draft , blind pic, solo ranked, flex ranked ) the amount of support players is not sustainable so making it worse for whole community is bad

Riot said this themselves, they're are many things they can do to make ranked better.

-queue times -roles -match making

BUT you have to sacrafise ONE of those 3 options there, and keep priority on the most important ones, which was roles and queue times, which honestly is what people wanted.

Wait like 50 hours to guarantee a role (poor queue times), get your role instantly but match u with bronzies (good queue times but poor match making) or auto fill you into a role with lower queue times and fair match making, better queue times, not so good on the roles but better match making.

I know auto fill sucks and it is a bit of a poor solution, but it is what it is, for shorter queue times

And support is not that hard, pick a brain dead champ like janna, sona or soraka for the one game you're auto filled and you'll have a better chance as boring as that is to atleast still earn that LP
