Graves dethrones Lee Sin as second most picked champion

Gotta tell you, Graves is a really awful Lucian replacement. He's actually counterable, and really his burst isn't that high. Don't see why everyone is playing him other than being ex-Lucian mains.

Meta Shift. Graves fits the current meta. he's longer ranged than Lucian, just as Mobile, has longer range burst, and the base damages on his skills are perfect for mid game. he also has a very strong AS steroid and tanky stats from his passive.
