Gotta tell you, Graves is a really awful Lucian replacement. He's actually counterable, and really his burst isn't that high. Don't see why everyone is playing him other than being ex-Lucian mains.

Well that's good, the game doesn't need another Lucian; though Lucian's play rate never was this high IIRC, I have no idea why so many people are playing him. He's not even seeing a ton of pro play so far as I've seen, especially not to the extent Lucian did.

Meta Shift. Graves fits the current meta. he's longer ranged than Lucian, just as Mobile, has longer range burst, and the base damages on his skills are perfect for mid game. he also has a very strong AS steroid and tanky stats from his passive.

Regardless of meta shift I haven't seen a champion with higher pick rate than Thresh or Lee Sin for a long time at least.

I'm just saying that Graves has been picked several times in the LCS as a bursty tanky ADC. His natural mid game power and ease of how to play. Makes him a strong pick in the solo queue meta right now, especially since the meta has shifted to be just super bursty or tanky champs.

Oh I know he's a strong champion; his popularity is also probably influencing Leona's increase in popularity too, I was more making a joke that Graves is getting nerfed since he's being played more than Lee Sin :P
