My story
I am a fairly new league player, i started about last year or so.
My fiend introduced me to league after i kept shooting him down.
My first champion ever played was Nocturne
, I loved this shadowy little fu&%# and how he could fly across the map.
my bro ( a friend not my brother ) drilled into my head how to play by repeated matches with level 30's. i used noc as ever type of role, support, adc mid, and finally i learned he was a jungler. i mained jungle nocturne with ym bro always duoing with me. i always thought he was quite good. then i finally hit level 30 and started to do ranked. my bro then rage quit on 2 of my matches both of which we could have won. i decided not to rank with him anymore so i dont get placed lower. when i finished up my placements. I ended up silver 2 , i thought wow for a new player that must be low since my bro is better then me. so i checked his ranking and all the rankings of league to understand the system better.....
He was bronze V.
so after some games went on i finished the presession still at silver 2. When it was time to rank again, i did the unthinkable ( to what my friend call it ). i purposely lost all my matches to be placed at bronze 5 ( i didn't hardcore troll but i used bronze tactics to get me placed there, low CS , bad team fighting and no objective control.) now placed at bronze v i decided to make multiple smurf accounts to level. then i met friends who were in my school also in bronze. after a couple matches i would always have had a good time and trolled to my hearts content playing what ever champ i wanted where i wanted ( within reason ) because in the end my mechanics and skill as a player always out weighed any 1 person on the other team. Then i met some friends who weren't bronze/ joined them in matches and saw how high octane the upper tier fights can be when things are basically even ( his was gold at the time but his mmr was drawing in plats and diamonds in normal ). so i started playing ranked again and went from bronze 5 to silver 5 in about a week ( of actually game play i took long breaks at a time for IP grinding and school reasons but all in all about 7 days of ranked ). from there on i had unbelievable struggles. even though i was about 4 divisions lower then what i had started i found that i had trouble in lane or even in the jungle my main role. So i started watching streams of players who mained roles i was bad with ( mainly top and mid ) and also watch a few stream from solo Q junglers. my picking up tips and tricks here and there i started to slowly climb back up to my first rank.
Now i am back at silver 2, I'm looking at gold 5 as a realistic goal and i think i can get it. But now I'm looking back at my friends who i left behind in bronze and all the fun trolly times i've had, ( wits end assassin ashe OP ). its been on my mind for awhile now and i think i have enough experience and background on this to post what i would put my reputation on as a survival guide to bronze. So here it is.

1. The Trinity
There are three big things that effect league players daily that's outside the game. these things cant mess you up VERY easily and make your game much harder then needed.
First of which is connection, sometimes riot is having a bad day, week... Month..... Rito pls... Jokes aside it happens, but there are ways to avoid this. before you log onto league check the forums for lag threads and server status. this takes about 1-2 minutes isn't anything big. but the next thing is what if YOUR internet is the issue? well you can also check that as well by going to http://www.speedtest.net/ . This site is accurate and fast to check your own speed. now you have a green light on all those there is one more step i take. Play 1 unranked game first, test the waters. I've had numerous times where everything else looked fine but in game it was terrible. yeah you have to play an unranked game first and that slows down your LP gain but id rather lose 20-40 mins then 20 lp.
Distractions are the second halve of the pregame, they come in many forms.
- Parents Girlfriend Talking on the phone TIME RESTRICTIONS
These things could cause you not to pay attention to your match or have you quit entirely. when playing ranked seriously try to remove as many of these as possible.
Lastly Body condition. Do not play league if your any of the following.
- hungry

- sad

- mad

- tired

- drunk
( but that doesn't apply to hotshotgg, MORE DRUNK STREMS PLOX)
All of these things not only distract you from thinking clearly and objectively, they cause you to be more irritable which leads to raging, and having slower reaction times which puts you at a disadvantage at ALL times.
Now that we have sum'd up the Trinity pregame lets head into the three things that will help you climb out of bronze. I have dubbed them the three C's.
CCC break down
C - champ select : What champions to pick, what order to pick, how to counter pick C - Composition : understanding the needs of the team. C - Control : Objectives
C1
Champ Select, the most important aspect of draft is knowing what will be played and having a general idea where it will be played. The key to the first C is understanding what your role will be and how can it best serve to shut down the enemy laner(s).
Lets take
as an example, his key elements are his monstrous late game after he farms enough Q stacks. A known counter play method to this is to deny farm, so we should think about HOW we do it rather then how we can beat him. Think of people who can stop nasus's Q for its his main damage.
Has a shield that blocks his autos and will stop his Q, also he has ranged targeted harass with global map presence from his ult. that's all fine for dueling but this leans into what the second C is.
C2
Understanding what the team needs rather then your own kill lane, this will dramatically increase your team fight performance once your have a good understanding of this C. Look at what your team has currently picked and try to build off what or ask what the other lanes plan to play. whats you have a general idea of whats missing pick the best option out of your champ pool that not only counters your lane but helps the team as well.
lets take our
example from before.
Sure pantheon is very strong in a 1v1 but if the other lanes come out more ahead of you you can duel effectively in a late game 5v5, the point where your team let you down is very common in bronze but it is stoppable. think now, the other team has
picked while your own team is
, What is your team missing? AoE, your team fight is poor with the current members, not much AoE mostly single target cc and some of it is situation based ( cait traps and net gun ). So who would bring AoE damage while being able to bully
by blocking his Q and generally stronger early game.
Comes to mind, her parry not only gives her AD to help her scale in lane to deal with
Q stacks but it then BLOCKS his Q completely denying him damage. Her ult then gives her more power because now she can snowball and change the outcomes of team fights.
The first 2 C's are complete and now its left for the final.
C3
Objectives, I'm talking dragons, towers and barons. objective control is relevant to your lane...
Top lane
- Top towers
- Your Blue/Red ( depending on which side your on )
- Your enemy's blue/red ( again depends on which team your on )
Mid lane has the freedom to roam anywhere with decent time so conciser all objectives as a possibility.
Bot lane
- Tower
- Dragon
Jungler
- Dragon
understanding when you can take an objective is key to helping your team push any advantage your may have.
Attitude
This gets the bronze players a lot of bad rep, but knowing how to deal with it and correcting your own is KEY to getting out of bronze at a decent pace.
First off never, at any point in time, insult, blame, or otherwise harass a teammate. it gets you no where, it lowers the overall moral of the team and sets your up to get chat banned. My personal philosophy is " I'd rather have a 0/20 mid lane than a 20/0 Raging top lane.". If you feel like a team mate misplayed or is buying improper items, rather then calling them out on it. Ask why they did what they did or offer your opinion on how to correct it. " leesin why sunfire cape over something like omens?" or " don't try to tower dive them again please, We don't have the damage to follow up on it just yet." Thinking like this keeps your team goal oriented and now constantly losing a team fight in chat.

Just some things i used to help me get a better grips on matches. my phone was a big help, i downloaded lolsummoners which not only allows me to look up other players but gives me counter pick options from champselect.net. i was also using lolnexus from time to time as well.
That's it folks, it took me probably 2-3 hours to write this piece of trash, so i hope it helps someone.
TDLR; i am better then all your bronzies and i main teemo huehuehuehuehuehuehuehuehue
