Well, maybe for the enemy. My team was a bunch of cats walking on the keyboard.
i play nonsense that hardly works in normals all the time, but for ranked you gotta stick to what you're real good at.
i actually did relatively well in my first ranked game recently. we lost, and i could've done better, but i think i played at around my best.
My friend invited me to my first ranked, back when I didn't even have runes. He told me it was normals draft, I didn't pay attention to it and well.. 1/9 Ashe with ap setup :/
My friends told me to play at least a full year before playing ranked (this includes lvling from 1-30). I did that and I went 3/7 on promos, but did good enough to still get into silver 5. Practice some champs, master 2 roles and you'll do fine in ranked. (2 roles because of the new draft pic). I also recommend waiting until the new draft pic is up to go for ranked, increased chance to get a role you want. BTW: GLHF in ranked man, hope you do well [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]
I don't understand how I got Silver in seasons 4 and 5 honestly. I play through placements and normally stop. But mechanically I am far less skilled than my friends (who get bronze) and I can lose the majority of my placement games while they win theirs and it was the same situation.
My first ranked game, I was thinking wow why does everybody suck so much...I get better players in my normal games.
Except that i took my first ranked game seriously too.
definitely agree i've been playing league now for alittle over a month and i'm still kinda sketchy to go into ranked
