The Main Problem in Bronze
This is probably one of the top 3 biggest problems in Bronze League. I got Silver last season, and I got placed Bronze II this season. I don't play ranked very often, but I've decided to change that this year. Besides my elo background, I've played with players that don't understand the game since Season 3.
In the past few months, I've been playing with my higher elo friends, (2 plats and a few gold) and I don't do terrible mechanically. Anyone can practice a champion and get used to their attack and spell animations in addition to a few nice combos. What I've found by asking my friends that can put me above other players my level is changing my build around. A lot of people just stick to the same 6 items every game they play and don't change their build according to the enemy team. If I'm playing
, I would ask my friends what to build. Instead of instantly just rushing a
because I saw FoxDrop do it, they told me that most of the enemy damage was AP, so I would build

In the link above, we were against 4 AP damage champions and 1 AD damage champion.

and

was the only AD damage threat (unless someone else built AD for some reason), it would be reasonable to have our support rush an

. The thing about this that aggravates me the most is, he was behind. So many Bronze Elo players are building the same thing regardless of how well they do in the game. Instead of switching to a more utility build,
(our support) decided it was still a good idea to rush full damage. I don't play
very often, but I know for almost support champion playing in this situation, it would be good to buy an
. If you were behind and sacrificed your next damage item for an item that kept your entire team more safe for an incredibly low price of 1500 gold, you would be the MVP!
Every person on my team had a poor build.
was the closest to having a reasonable build until she built herself a

. To many people in the Bronze League, they think that they just countered

wasted 1300 gold to get an MR item that she couldn't use late game.
has 1 item that it builds into, which benefits the champion with AD and Life Steal. To an AP
, that is not the best item to build. Correct me if I am wrong, but I suggested building a
instead. That item would provide better stats for defense against their entire team and still have the potential to disrupt
's combo.
I'm not going to sit here and cry about my game, but for anyone going into ranked reading this, please know what you are going to build, and how you can change your build according to how you and the enemy plays!
If this helped anyone, feel free to upvote it so it can help others. I would appreciate some feedback to this from any higher elo players!

ps. I built an
at the end of the game. I'm not sure if that was the right choice, but nobody else was doing it and I didn't think the game would end up getting to the point where I needed another item slot :/
