Well looks like I'm not getting any Pool Party rewards...

So last Saturday, I'm playing league with my friend at his house, we just start a game. I'm RekSai jungle. I just finished my full clear and I'm level 4. BOOM Power goes out. Then it's back on. I relogin and reconnect. I'm 3 freaking levels behind. Then BOOM. My screen becomes Unicorn barf for a split second and then crashes. I login on another PC. I'm now level 5 and the enemies are Lvl 10+. We ff@20. Another game. It's going well. Me and my friend just got a sick double kill bot lane. BOOM. Power goes out again. This time is doesn't come back on. Then we chill on his trampoline in the summer heat waiting for it to comeback on. 30 minutes later, the power returns. The game was over because my team didn't want to 3v5. I hop on my account and see how much the wait time is... 20 minutes. sigh. This time, we aren't stupid enough to trust the grid anymore. We do a couple 1v1s until my Dad picks me up. How am I supposed to get 4 other people to wait 20 minutes with me to get into a game? Answer: I can't. I've tried. I have to play 5 games with a 20 minute wait alone. Hopefully afterwards I can get in a game or 2 with a 5 man premade. But this leaverbuster system is discouraging play with friends. You have to be friends with the nicest people on Earth for them to wait 20 minutes just to play with you.

Look forward to playing. I like Skype too, message my in game and i'll send Skype username I don't usually mind the wait time, but I gotta go in to the college. ring me up some time 'round 5:30pm Central time, and grab some buddies. I'll help you breeze your times away, and I don't report for ad connections either.

You can also get the rewards for sending a gift to people or gifting at the end game screen, so you won't necessarily miss out on the rewards if you can't get into a premade game.

However, one of my friends had a connection issue and got the leaverbuster penalty of 20 minutes, and I didn't really mind waiting. Queue up with your friend that lost connection with you, get through the 5 games and try again

hey man, i recently had a disconnect too! It also was due to a power outage.

Guess what did not happen? I did not get into a LPQ.

Do you want to know why? In the 4 years i have been playing i left maybe 5 games, every time do to external circumstances like powerouts, internet outages, tornado warnings...

ONE GAME MISSED DOES NOT PUT YOU INTO LPQ
