There is no incentive to turn around toxic behavior.

I have come to the conclusion that the chat ban system is broken. I finished my 69 game chat ban and play 5 unbanned games to log in and find myself with a 75 game chat ban and 45 game ranked ban. My account now spends 95% of my games chatbanned, and I FEAR the games that I get a troll because I know one or two reports will mean WEEKS of bans. Many of the reports I get from duos who don't like my build, or trolls reporting the entire team because they got reported. The worst part is that because I was banned previously my reports matter less, and theirs matter more.

I even disabled ALL chat to prevent arguing and never got warned and still find myself banned again. I feel like an ex-con, convicted because I "have a record".

In a nutshell there is no incentive to fix your account. I know that I am just one or two reports away, so I find myself abandoning my account I have had since season 1. It will be faster to just level an new account to 30 and "start fresh". I actually think most trolls must do this.. because it's easier to start over than take your punishment.

How do you keep getting chat bans and restrictions. There must be more to this story.

I wouldn't say no incentive but there's very little incentive. The only thing I actually got nailed for was leaving and part of that was due to disconnects and crashes before the server move. I got placed in the low priority queue and I still occasionally leave intentionally not to troll people but because I get sick of wasting time on completely hopeless matches when the rest of the team is too delusional to surrender. I'm getting to the point, though, where the experience is becoming so antagonizing that I don't want to play at all. I play a few games a day and then give up because of how frustrating it is. There's really no need for the tribunal with me. When the atmosphere in game gets shitty enough I'll ban myself by just not logging in.

Dont, I got banned for 2 weeks for the same type of shit They had a rumble on their team trashtalking I won the game and told him to stop trashtalking and then muted him and asked to report him, Then he reported me and I got banned, Ima do the same thing as you, disable all chat and literally not typing. But dont give up your acc from season 1

Thats the thing though.. that is exactly what I did and now Im banned for MORE games. If I play 30 minute games its going to take me 40ish HOURS to complete my chat ban... only to probably get another one immediately over something I cant control.

The incentive for not being a jerk is;

  1. Having a more pleasant experience in the game that often results in better performance and more wins, and
  2. Not getting banned.

If you don't like those incentives, please don't play this game. Most people figure this out and reform, but then there's people like this...
