help with OBS settings for streaming
I've been trying to stream for a little while so I could record my games. I want to make use of the weekly mentoring threads on summoner school, and I figured a bunch of recordings would really help the better players analyze my games. My past broadcasts are here.
In the beginning I found that I couldn't stream properly because of an upload speed problem, which I solved by switching from AT&T's uVerse DSL to Charter's high speed cable. Then I found that I had CPU problems when trying to do downscaling, so I upgraded from my first gen i7 to a new Intel i7-4790K @ 4GHz. While I was at it I upgraded my motherboard and went from 8GB of ram to 16GB. Now I can pretty much do anything, but my stream settings aren't quite right - as you can see if you view a past recording, the bottom of the screen where you can see half the mini map and the items are gone. Can anyone provide any hints as to what is causing this particular problem?
Here are my settings on the Encoding tab: Encoder: Nvidia NVENC Use CBR: checked Enable CBR padding: checked Max Bitrate (kb/s): 2000 Codec: AAC Bitrate: 112 on the video tab I have the custom resolution set to 1920x1080 with a 16:9 aspect ration, no downscaling and 30 fps. I'm not disabling aero.
In game settings: Video: resolution: 1920x1080 windowed mode: borderless everything maxed, framerate cap 144 fps, anti-aliasing
