idea: increase dodge penalty?
I think Riot should increase the dodge timer penalty to 3, 6, or even 12 hours for an account. What's the downside? This will eventually cut out the nonsense where you get 5 dodgers in a row.

But you arent getting the same dodgers in every game. Plus if anything this would just make them have multiple accounts and just dodge on those.
Downside is that sometimes people dodge because they have to, not because they want and it would greatly harm those people
too harsh... just cuz you are in 5 team selects where someone dodges that isnt the same person that dodges all 5 times... wanna know how i know ? cuz any time you dodge out of a matched game you are given the leave buster penalty which is 5mins and goes up from there. and if a person is known/flagged as a repeat offender then they face even harsher penalties as it is
Seriously, I get the repeat dodges are not from the same person. They're from other people who were suddenly shunted off to some other role. I think the idea is a good one. Everyone needs to learn how to support or stop fucking queueing.
Dodging doesn't bother me. Much better than having you afk in my game or being subjected to the whims of a troll taking champ select hostage.

Sometimes dodging is legitimate and reasonable.
For example: a friend JUST logged in right after I got in champ select. My doorbell rings. The fire alarm goes off. My internet dies briefly.
Sure, if this happens often, that's my problem. But a several hour penalty for one dodge is a bit extreme.
thats a retarded idea. what they should do is reduce the time spent in champ select. 10 seconds to ban, 10 seconds to lock in ur champ.
