A few ideas

Hello everyone, I'm a bit new to the forums here so I apologize if I've not seen these ideas already posted.

There's a couple ideas I had in mind, I'm not sure quite how it'd work and I'd love everyone's opinions on it as well.

The first idea i has was a "send gold" option in game, there's a few ways I had in mind how it could go; After a set amount of time eg: 30 minute game time, you could be able to send another player on your team your hard earned gold to help them build their items up faster.. Now It'd have to be either a set amount like '500' gold one time, or small amount's only every 5-10 minutes of game time so it wouldn't be too over powered. I believe this would help players that are struggling mid-late game get a another item or two so they would be more of a help during a team fight. I've seen supports that have had more kills 'by mistake' then their carrys they were supporting, and by the 30-40 minute mark they aren't able to output the damage in a team fight that you'd originally hope, which usually ends in a really unbalanced game and hideous defeat. Of course this idea would need a lot of tweaking and balancing so it wouldn't ruin everyones experience. But that's up to you guys.

Another idea I had is, those runes. The ability to be able to trade runes with another player of equal worth. The idea really speaks for itself, just thought I'd throw it out there.

well to be honest the gold sending during a game would be nice but very unlikely due to the fact that if one or two characters get fed and/or have a good enough farm then that team would quickly stomp the other as they give all to their carries. also all one would have to do is get items that generate gold and/or play a champ that has a passive that earns them gold to abuse this idea. if you or your teammate can't earn gold then you become a liability in the long run which is why it gives you plenty of incentive to learn to farm and get kills instead of relying on your teammates to give it to you. it takes out some of the challenge of this game for the everyone.
