Ranked System/ Looking for Duo Queue Supp

Hi I am pretty new to ranked play and started as soon as I reached level 30. I played decently well in 4 out of 10 of my matches against high silver elo players; I was then placed into Bronze 1. I was just wondering how long it would take me to get out of Bronze 1 and the relative skill level of the player in my division. I am a ADC main and would really like to improve any tips/tricks you could give me would be appreciated. Should I continue to play normal to improve my skill level before I continue or should I grind out into Silver 5. Any Comments would be appreciated. I am also looking for a good supp to duo queue with preferably somewhere around my elo so we can both learn and progress together through the league system. There is so much I want to learn and over the coming month want to improve my level of play drastically. Overall I am just looking for insight into the game from a player with more experience than me.
