Zilean Passive Name Change

I love the new passive, only qualm I have is that "Time in a Bottle" just sounds really really bad. After looking the phrase up to see if it was even a thing, I found that unless your a Jim Croce fan, or are really into "Philosophy" beauty products, it's a pretty obscure term.

Why not name it "Time Capsule?"

It fits with the rest of his abilities, sounds better, is more relateable, and still fits the ability just fine.

Just an idea, super excited to play new Zilean.

Also I attached the song because it's pretty decent.

I disagree, the song "Time in a Bottle" as you've heard is a song about loss, about not being able to spend the drifting days with a loved one before it's too late. This, I feel, better matches Zileans lore than "Time Capsule" does. The loss of his home as it was destroyed so long ago, unable to change its fate as he drifts mentally through time, sometimes before Urtistan's ruin, to which he can do nothing but regret and remember. Don't you think that the sadness of 'Time in a Bottle" fits more than the novel nature of time capsule?

On a side note, I really wouldn't call "Time Capsule" more relateable since few people even bother to make one, while plenty of people have know the feeling of time that could have been better spent with a love one.

I guess by relateable I mean that most players on here aren't going to know that song, and if they do it will most likely be brief. Everyone knows what a time capsule is, and it doesn't sound as clunky as "Time in a Bottle" does.

The song was released in 1972, which means you would have to be in your early fifties to even remember the song from your childhood. Given that 80% of LoL players are age 16-30, Im going to assume that the amount of experience is limited. Also, it should be said that I would put money on the fact that the name has nothing to do with the song, it's just a funny coincidence. The song has no more correlation to the passive than the expensive eye cream.

Time Capsule sounds so boring compared to the wistful "Time in a Bottle", it just doesn't sound nearly as good. One of the reasons why I like the name is because my father gave me his own personal "Time in a Bottle" when I was younger. He's an older guy, and that song is from when he was young himself, he enjoyed his youth, so he always preferred to listen to oldies stations, which played songs from the 60's-70's, Time in a Bottle occasionally being one of them. He would tell me stories from when he was kid while the songs played, stories of how things were different then they are now. I'm 18 and still listen to songs from back then, simply because they remind me of my youth and spending time with my dad.

I also disagree with time being an important factor for a good reference. I mean, Wukong was inspired by Son Wukong, a character from Journey to the West. an ancient Chinese classic. I also don't know why you'd waste money like that, Riot has been known to reference all sorts of things with their characters. I mean, Mafia Jinx does the Charleston, and Amumu does the Spider Man pose in his Q splash art.

Derailing the conversation but I totally thought Wukong was inspired by the Hindu god Hanuman?

What? How did you get that connection? Another neat thing about Wukong, in the Chinese lore, they apparently just straight up made him the Son Wukong from Journey to the West.
