An ever so increasing need for earlier game end options
I have played a total of 6 matches today. Out of these 6 matches, 4 games were beyond winning from the start to about the first five minutes. However, I trudged through them, just wanting to get into the next game. The game that made me finally quit for the day, occurred just 10 minutes ago and is attached.
Now in this game, there were three people on our team that were queue'd together. We had 3 golds, a bronze, and a diamond vs a team of 3 silver, and two unranked. I'd said this at the start of the game, and the triple queue said the game was in the bag. As soon as I had cleared the first wave, our Riven DC'd, reconnected, and dc'd again. Shortly after, both the mid laner and the jungler dc'd. At that moment, the enemy amumu had ganked bottom, scoring Tristana a double kill. So we were down 0/2 in a 2v5 at the 2:30 mark.
Now after the enemy team realized what had happened, Tristana and Thresh moved middle to push down. My support decided to come top with me, and just free farm or whatever. To our surprise, Amumu and Pantheon flash ganks us when I'm a level 4, and the Leona a level 2, with both of them six, instead of helping to end asap. Still, it was less than 6 minutes in the game when this happened.
So I had to sit there for another five minutes waiting for them to push down the base, while they instead took to try and kill us in and right outside fountain.
There had been talk and speculation about an "equalization" option, but now I'm wondering if it would be better to make surrender limits lifted when there are DC's involved.
