when you are playing blitz while being able to land 0 skill shots and successfully lose your fully fed team a game with a smurf it obviously says something. Low elo players have double the chance to win when they play easier champions rather than hard. Makes it 10x easier to carry you brain dead players
Weird how people might want to choose champions they find fun even if they're not amazing at them.

Blitzcrank is a hard champion? He's extremely binary, but he's simple to play.
Honestly expected a complain about Leblanc, Zed, Riven, Yasuo, or Azir.
Blitzcrank is hard? Doesn't he put out more pressure by doing nothing, even when in the end he misses all of his skillshots? He's also got a fire-and-forget E and R. It could be worse.
It's a whacky thing. Outside of Ranked, they can pick whatever they want, surely. Just gotta remember that characters that fulfill a specific niche aren't so good when that niche isn't utilized well enough. Picking well-rounded "loldamage" characters is the tried and tested thing, after all.
I've spoken with people who consider D3 low Elo, and tend to recommend pretty much the same thing to anyone looking to climb, but you can't really expect everyone in solo queue to do this or for it to really matter if they did, you're going to get people that go 0/17 on the easy champions as well as the hard ones.
