I have been looking for a team to just spam 3v3's before ranked season ends, because those ranked tier icons look pretty juicy, but to no avail, have I found someone to join me in 3v3's, is there a reason people don't want to do so, and can I get an elaborate explanation on why? Take in mind, I know that 3v3's are decided in the pick ban phase until you are a higher tier, but I don't believe that limits me from enjoying a game-mode I like 
I just find that most people don't play TT/3v3 because it is not SR and because it is "only bruisers" (which isn't true... there is often mages and at times supports and ADC) I feel that people mostly don't bother with it... Well I am sure there is also some that don't like it
I have been struggling to find a 3's team as well. I'm only silver 5 though.
I guess people don't like Twisted Treeline, or they're too used to the Rift
From my experience it is tough to get into because there are elitist 3v3 players who have a much higher amount of plays. When starting out you get matched against or with these people and fall behind, making the whole TT experience quite unpleasant.
