...if I didn't have to wait 5 to 15 minutes almost every single day downloading updates and letting it scan the files.

Honestly, I used to have a lot of flack for Blizzard's opening interfaces (it drives me bonkers how long it takes to get into a game of SC2 for example), but LoL is really starting to make a play for the lead.

Too much junk and excess. Not streamlined. Just let us play the game.

I didn't know where else to post this feedback because none of the boards pertain to the Loader sequence itself and since its not a bug...

Maybe if you opened it more then once a week you wouldn't have that problem lol.

League only updates once a week, on the same schedule. The only time there are ever changes outside of that is if something is getting hotfixed, and usually that involves a 1 minute download tops while also being quite rare.

Probably a hotfix for something then, there are a couple fairly big bugs that got through the PBE with the mid season patch.

I've experienced as much as 15 minutes, the majority of time being the filescan. To another poster, it is true that I don't play League more than a few times a week tops, but for the last 3 "sessions" it took me at least 10+ minutes to get into the game with downloading and matchmaking. One of the things I liked about LoL previously was the ease of access. There was a quick login you click play and then you're in queue. Now the process feels quite lengthened, enough so that I find myself becoming impatient and opting to play other games with shorter to-play time.

I cannot speak for how other players feel, but as a casual enjoyer of the game, this is my experience. Not as quick as it used to be.
